The general goal of our Horse Lovers' and Horse Masters' camps are to have fun while we expand our horizons thru horses, crafts, and games .

Horses allow us to grow and develop self esteem, thru: discovering our ability to influence a thousand pounds of animal to do what we had in mind; "thinking ahead", planning, follow thru. and self control; developing an ability to "size up" a situation; taking responsibility and feeling the accomplishment for a job well done; and fostering the feeling of success in caring for another. A friendship with a horse is such a wonderful feeling. Plus we learn to ride!

Games are fun ways to interrelate and develop a sense of teamwork and humor.

Crafts give us a sense of accomplishment and artistic expression .

And of course, we always keep our older "role models" on hand to keep the enthusiasm and energy of youth well directed!
