The Instructor's Certification Program (ICP) requires candidate instructors to attend workshops on training dressage and jumping. The testing process involves teaching a new student dressage, cross country, and stadium jumping. Each day, candidates teach a different discipline to a different student. Candidates must also complete a series of written tests and a hands-on stable management test. Candidates are also required to be CPR certified and obtain a child-abuse clearance. For more information about the ICP Program, workshops, assessments, and how to audit, please log-on to the USEA website. |
